Course Information

The course is around the beautiful Ashdown Forest Broadstone area and offers a host of permutations for the route we are able to use. Our A route is a 1.91 mile loop which is 100% on wide trails. As it transpires (now writing in May) the permutations are somewhat restricted by the rangers.

It's going to be quite a hilly route and the trail whilst wide does offer a couple of challenges with a few roots and rocks to add to fun and we'd hope for the route to be mud free, you never know! There are stands of fine large beech trees and some sweet chestnut coppice.

The route is viewable on MayMyRun here.

There are some lovely woods to run through, some heathland and all in all is really rather pleasant with some lovely views from the top of the valley.

It's a 100% trail shoes course, if its dry you'll be able to get away with road shoes, oh and its going to be hilly, its basically down the hill, around and back up and along the top... and for a marathon type distance that climb is going to add up.
