A flat coastal marathon around Oyster Bay

A flat 100% decent surface route takes us on a 6.55 mile loops between Herne Bay and Whitstable around the rather exotically named Oyster Bay. Whitstable is famous for its seafood and oysters in particular and well worth a visit perhaps after the marathon!

The route is all on good surfaces, a mixture of tarmac and concrete as it meanders around the bay passing Tankerton which in summer is a popular beach destination, in winter, well, less so!

This event forms part of a 10 Marathons in 10 Days Challenge, each event though is totally separate and you are free to just take part in one event, two events or however many you wish!

We put on marathons run exactly the way we wish they were all run. Low key, friendly and with most of the entry fee being spent on the runners. Please explore the races and consider joining us in Kent for a marathon or more!

The 2016 medal will be like the one below... but inverse colours, more green and yellow than yellow and green!
