Zombies on the loose in September!
We've a new theme for a fun Challenge Run in September down at the coast at Samphire Hoe, the Zombie Challenge Run! This the second in the series of vaguely matching medals in a fantasy / undead type informal series! (The other is the Vampire Challenge )
There will be little prized for the best fancy dress which is very much encouraged!
This route will be run below the iconic White Cliffs of Dover at Samphire Hoe on a 3.28 mile loop.
The event will have a six hour time limit for you to run as many, or as few laps as you wish. With a timed event, as long as you complete one lap, then you are an official finisher!
As usual we'll have a well stocked aid station, a unique custom made medal and a goody bag that actually contains goodies which will make the undulations and any mud more than worth it.
It's our aim that this event makes an impactful difference to the Samphire Hoe in a positive fashion and as such £5 from each entry fee will be donated directly to the Park to aid them in maintaining this lovely environment.
Please explore the races and consider joining us!

Yes no problem at all, we have a dedicated table for runners own supplies if they have anything special that they'd like to bring along..
Trail shoes? Road Shoes?
Road shoes should be fine. Its 99% on perfect surfaces, you might have a couple of pebbles to step around, but otherwise all on sealed tarmac/concrete/gravel and a couple of wooden bridges. Even after heavy rain the surfaces tend to be very good.

No. We are on a public nature reserve. Runners do not have the right of way and need to be considerate of other users of the land, there may be fisherman on the sea wall part and dog walkers, ramblers or cyclists on any part of the course. Please don't litter. We'll have a bin at the base camp, please use this and there are several bins on the route too.
Are there any facilities at the start/finish area?
Yes there are toilets (open from 7:00) by the car park near the start/finish. There is also some information about the reserve and a small cafe (but it may not be open till about 1000-1100!)
